The Essence of True Christian Masculinity: Harnessing Energy and Focus for a Brighter Future

In today's world, masculinity often finds itself in a contentious spotlight. Misunderstood and misrepresented, the true essence of masculinity can get lost amidst societal shifts and personal struggles. However, understanding and harnessing our masculine energy is essential not only for personal growth, power over substances, avoiding burnout, self esteem satisfying our wives or protecting our children, but it's also essential for leading others into a brighter future. This article explores what I've learned it means to be truly masculine, the importance of channeling our energy, and the role of purpose in our lives. Come now, let's explore the essence of true christian masculinity and how you can begin harnessing energy and focus for a brighter future.

Please be aware, there is some discussion about sex in here. Sex is an important topic often graced over in Christian literature, but since sex, or lack thereof in relationships, causes a lot of problems. So men, it's time to step up and clean up your side of the street, this is a call to action to use your sex hormones to lead your family and you wife, to the place of their dreams.

What Not to Do

Don't chase after the feeling. One of the significant challenges many men face is managing their energy and self-esteem. Feelings are not a dependable place to rest our self-esteem nor our energy. Feelings are fleeting.

In my coaching sessions, I've encountered numerous individuals who rely on feelings and they depend on external stimulants, like Plant-Medicine or Adderall, to feel " more human" or "more alive." I'm a 10 year sober drug addict so I know that while these substances may provide a temporary boost, they are not sustainable solutions. Instead, learning to channel and focus our natural energy is the key to avoiding burnout and achieving long-term success.

Another feeling you might chase is anger, but also just excitement in general. When we become excited we might lose track of where we are and even who we are. This is not a safe place spiritually to be and we can not guide others when we aren't present. So feel the feelings, learn how to use them, but don't become the feelings and react to them. Lead a life of self-control, not feelings, this is what it means to be a man.

The Bible offers guidance on this matter. In Proverbs 25:28, it states,

"A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls."

This verse underscores the importance of self-control and the dangers of relying on fleeting feelings to guide our actions. True masculinity involves finding a balance and riding the steady path to our goals, even when it’s not the most thrilling route.

The Pitfall of Chasing Feelings

Living based on transient feelings can lead to missed opportunities and unfulfilled potential. When we wait for a particular feeling to motivate us, we deny our innate ability to take charge and live purposefully. This approach not only hinders personal growth but also affects our ability to lead and inspire others.

Being masculine is about embracing our nature to take hold of situations and live in the moment with a clear purpose.

Ephesians 5:15-16 advises,

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil."

This passage encourages us to live wisely and purposefully, making the most of every moment.

Leading with Purpose

A key aspect of masculinity is leadership. A man with focus and direction can lead his family and loved ones into a fulfilling and prosperous life. This leadership extends to all areas of life, including your most intimate times. However, many men get caught up in their feelings, often times without even noticing they are having them, and lose sight of their responsibilities to care for their lover or family first, leading to issues like cheating, emotional withdrawal, outbursts, or a deeply unsatisfied wife.

Recognizing and harnessing our feelings is crucial when serving others. When we focus our energy, we create a safe and stable environment for our businesses, families, and wives. This stability is the foundation upon which we can build a successful and meaningful life.

The Power of Focused Energy

Few men can effectively focus their energy, which is why father figures often receive criticism and families can struggle. It's why I have two broken marriages with children in each. The inability to channel masculine energy productively can lead to dissatisfaction in various areas of life, including intimacy. Learning to harness and direct our energy is a powerful skill that can transform our lives and the lives of those around us.

Psalm 37:23-24 offers encouragement for us guys:

"The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand."

This verse reminds us that as guys when we align our actions with a higher purpose, we receive support and guidance, even in challenging times.

The Masculine Role in Society

Society often misinterprets masculinity, leading to negative stereotypes and misunderstandings. However, true masculinity is about using our energy and focus for the greater good. It's about leading by example and providing stability and direction in a world that often lacks both.

In today's world, the family unit is under immense pressure. Fathers and male figures play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the family. By harnessing our masculine energy, we can be the pillars that support and uplift our families, creating a nurturing and loving environment.

Men Embrace Their Purpose

Living with purpose and intention is the hallmark of true masculinity. Every action we take should be guided by a sense of purpose and integrity. This means being mindful of how we spend our time and energy and ensuring that our efforts are aligned with our goals and values.

Romans 12:2 provides a powerful directive:

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

This verse calls us to rise above societal norms and live with a renewed sense of purpose, guided by divine wisdom.

The Journey to Becoming the Top 1%

Striving to be in the top 1% is not about elitism but about maximizing our potential and using our masculine energy for positive impact. It's about being the leaders and role models that others can look up to. By harnessing our energy and focusing on our purpose, we can lead ourselves and others into a brighter future.

As we embark on this journey, we must remember that it's not about perfection but about progress.

Philippians 3:13-14 encourages us:

"Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

This passage reminds us to keep moving forward, continually striving for growth and improvement.

After many years of faking my masculinity, either being completely hypermasculine and toxic or denying masculinity and trying to run from it I have learned that it can be the answer to my life's issues. Reason being is that true masculinity is about focus, purpose, and harnessing our energy for the greater good. It's about leading by example and creating a stable and nurturing environment for our loved ones. By embracing our masculine nature and living with intention, we can transform our lives and the lives of those around us.

Let us strive to be the top 1%, guiding our lives and the lives of others with our masculine energy. By doing so, we fulfill our divine purpose and create a brighter future for all.
